Internship with FAD Magazine—San Francisco, CA
Designed the Here's the POOP! page by James St. James where I incorporated a new graphical style for callout copy, which had until then only been seen in British magazines. After I left the magazine my techniques were used throughout the magazine. For my work I received a credit as the Cyberpunk.

Assistant Photo Editor/Photographer for the Chabot College Spectator—Hayward, CA
Made enlargements to be shot by stat camera for paste-up. Used photo-printing techniques, such as dodging and burning for subject emphasis. Was assigned to photograph students and faculty for special interest stories. Wrote an entertainment feature on the arrival of House music to San Francisco. Designed ads for the Mass Communications department. Spent many late nights to ensure the completion of the issues.
